Whole School
There was far too much rubbish left on the field and around the school site today. Please make sure that you are using the bins provided and treating the school site with respect. The field will be closed if the situation does not improve. Mr Fluellen.

Voice and Piano lessons today from 11:30. Please check the timetable at break (outside the music room).

Tomorrow (Friday) Guitar lessons resume with Mr. Robinson - check the board - write your time in planner.

Auditions for School of Rock take place today and tomorrow in the auditorium. If you want to check when your audition slot is, please see the lists on the door to the Drama room (E1).

On Tuesday September 26, the school will be celebrating the European Day of Languages.  We will be running lots of activities around the school on the day. 

Great European Bake Off - bring in your Europe themed bakes to the Food Tech Room (L1) first thing and have them judged by Mr Serridge, Ms German and Ms Law.  The cake can be a European recipe, a model of one of the famous European monuments or decorated in the colours of one of the European flags.  There will be a prize for the winner and runners up.  The cakes will be offered to parents in the MFL Department at the Open Evening.    Remember to name your cake and come to the MFL Open Evening if you want to try some.

Assembly - Year 7s will get to see some of the Harrow Way Staff speaking other languages during their assembly.

All pupils can enter the quiz activities which will be distributed via your tutors.  Get all the answers correct to win a prize.

Staff will be using other languages in their lessons on the day and the school lunch menu will feature a range of European foods for you to try.

Year 9
Today is your turn to earn glory for your House in the Basketball Free-throw competition. All Year 9 students are welcome to go to the basketball courts by the Dance studio between 12:50 and 13:10 today to take part in competition.

Year 10
If you are hoping to become a prefect this year and enjoy working as part of a team please meet with Miss Atherton on Friday to find out more about becoming a Peer Supporter. It will include training and shadowing opportunities.  S2 Friday Lunchtime 22nd September.

Year 11
Maths 1:1, please can these students go to L11 at the start of tutor: Troy O'Hagan, Daniel Fowler, Alfie Merritt.
