Whole School

The field will be out of bounds today. If it is still a normal break or lunch time then the tennis courts will be open for football games only. Please remember not to take food or drink onto the tennis courts.

A reminder of wet break areas where students should head if they hear a long bell signalling that it is a wet break:
  • Yr7 Humanities (1st Floor of Main Block)
  • Yr8 Maths
  • Yr9 MFL (2nd Floor of Main Block)
  • Yr10 B Block Upstairs (English)
  • Yr11 B Block Downstairs (English)

Please remember that a long bell not only signals that start of a wet break but also signals the end of wet break arrangements. If the bell rings again before the official end of a break time (indicated by a short bell) then staff and students should leave wet break areas and return to outside areas or areas such as the auditorium.

On Tuesday September 26, the school will be celebrating the European Day of Languages.  We will be running lots of activities around the school on the day.
Great European Bake Off - bring in your Europe themed bakes to the Food Tech Room (L1) first thing and have them judged by Mr Serridge, Ms German and Ms Law.  The cake can be a European recipe, a model of one of the famous European monuments or decorated in the colours of one of the European flags.  There will be a prize for the winner and runners up.  The cakes will be offered to parents in the MFL Department at the Open Evening.    Remember to name your cake and come to the MFL Open Evening if you want to try some.
Assembly - Year 7s will get to see some of the Harrow Way Staff speaking other languages during their assembly.
All pupils can enter the quiz activities which will be distributed via your tutors.  Get all the answers correct to win a prize.
